Along with radical, historical, and informative literature, the shop also stocks independent magazines and comics from diverse writers. It's usually pretty quiet inside this space and it's comfortable to browse around, however, the 'zine rack can get a little crowded. The volunteers at the shop are happy to answer questions about their stock or the store.

Outside of Philly is Baldwin's Book Barn, an antique and used bookstore situated in an old farmhouse. The floors of the old house, built in the 1800's, are filled with books both new and used, as well maps and other antique treasures. It's a fairly large place with it's numerous floors and rooms so be prepared to be there for a while.
